The LIEDKLASSE of the conservatory organised a workshop on Grieg songs in the original language at the Music Highschool of Antwerp, Belgium. Jozef De Beenhouwer and Lucienne Van Deyck invited Martje Vande Ginste to lead the workshop spread over four months. 12 singers and 12 pianists are performing about 38 songs from the opuses 5, 21, 23, 25, 33, 60 and Haugtussa op 67. Martje Vande Ginste will also give a lecture on Grieg's life and songs, an hour before the concert.
